When you rent one of our editing workstations, you've got access to the best post- -production hardware and software available. Our Non- -Linear Edit bays are equipped with the hardware and software you need to deliver the highest quality video output possible for your project

TECHNICAL DETAILS

We have selected the Apple Mac Pro platform for our workstations because it is what our editors and support personnel prefer to use. All of our available edit bays include the following hardware specifications:

Processor Configuration: 2x Quad Core 3.0GHz Intel Xeon (Total of 8 processing cores) Memory: 8GB
2x 30" Apple Cinema Displays
Storage: Temporary storage is available on our eSATA RAIDS enclosure however we do not offer backup services and we recommend that all individuals renting our suites utilize their own storage for their ease of use, protection and data security.
Available Connectivity: eSATA, Firewire 800, Firewire 400 or USB 2.0
Additional PCIe cards can be installed for long term rental contracts Narration Microphone for scratch track recording Stereo auditioning (M- -Audio studio monitor speakers)

SOFTWARE NON- -LINEAR VIDEO EDITING

AVID
We have the most up- -to- -date version of Media Composer installed with a full complement of plugins for native media access for many tapeless camera formats including MXF, RED, Panasonic, Ikegami and Sony (XDCam/XDCam EX).

Final Cut Studio
Our bays are always loaded with the latest version of Final Cut Studio including (as of this writing):

   Final Cut Pro (7.0.3)
   Motion (4.0.3)
   Soundtrack Pro (3.0.1)
   Color (1.5.3)
   Compressor (3.5.3)
   DVD studio pro (4.2.2)

Adobe
If Premiere is your preferred platform, we've got that covered as well. We have CS5 Production Premium installed on our bays, which include Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, After Effects for motion graphics and Flash for encoding and web delivery.

MOTION GRAPHICS
We aren't only a place for hardcore video editors; we know that the modern video editor needs access to award winning 2D/3D motion graphics tools as well as the best video editing software. Our bays include Photoshop and Flash for creating original motion graphics.
Your original artwork can then be easily integrated into your production footage using Apple's Motion or Adobe's After Effects.

INGEST/OUTPUT
As already mentioned, we have a full complement of native plugins for both AVID Media Composer and Final Cut Studio giving native access to many tapeless workflows in production today. Our editing suites offer the hardware and software necessary to edit and conform your content. We have found that most editors would prefer to bring their own footage already ingested during their production workflow and are looking for a comfortable place to edit. As a result, at this time, we do not offer any uncompressed ingest options. We provide connectivity to cameras and decks via the high- -speed peripheral connections on each of our workstations (eSATA/FW400/FW800/USB2.0), but at this time we have no tape based ingest options for public use. We do have REDCine and REDCode installed for those users who produced their film using the RED Cameras.

For output, you can utilize Compressor and DVD Studio Pro to finalize your project and output in any format you'd like, or even complete your DVD. We have a Blu- -Ray DVD burner available for Blu- -ray finishing if desired.
